Martongate Primary School, as part of Horizon Academy Trust, is proposing to open a new Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Unit. This unit is specifically designed to support pupils with Speech, Language, and Communication needs. This initiative aims to enhance the provision available to children within our community who require specialised support.

We are conducting this additional consultation period to gather further valuable feedback on this important proposal.

What is Being Proposed?

We propose to establish a dedicated SEND unit at Martongate Primary School. This unit will provide a specialised learning environment and tailored support to help early years and key stage one pupils with Speech, Language, and Communication needs thrive within a mainstream academy setting.
