Ethos:

Martongate Primary School aims to create a secure, caring, and inclusive environment where every individual is valued as unique. We are committed to supporting the personal growth of all our pupils, enabling them to achieve within a rich and diverse community. We foster positive relationships and a trusting environment where learning can thrive. Our curriculum is designed to challenge and support every child to achieve highly, encouraging a spirit of curiosity, critical thinking, and independence. Through a rich and engaging curriculum, we aim to develop confident, well-rounded individuals who are prepared for success in life, regardless of their background. Martongate Primary School reflects our values of Respect, Belief and Courage in every interaction and our pride within our local community.

Values:

The values at Martongate Primary School have been identified through work with our pupils, parents, staff and governors. What happens in our school will always be based on our three core values of Respect, Belief and Courage. These principles underpin the behaviours of every single member of the school community: pupil; teacher; parent; and, governor. It is a non-negotiable of the school.

Respect:

• Valuing difference across the school community.
• Looking after the environment, both in the school and wider world.
• Creating a positive learning environment and value the achievements of others.

Belief:
